Another article in today’s Washington Post pointed out that in last year’s Democratic primary in Virginia Terry McCauliffe campaigned very hard for Hillary Clinton and that he must now win back at least a proportion of voters who preferred Barack Obama.
Bill Clinton has undoubted star power, even though in the 1996 and 2000 presidential elections Virginians chose his opponent by a majority. He stressed that McCauliffe knows how to get Government to create jobs in the private sector.
