When I read reports like the one on the Falls Church funeral home, I say to myself that both parties can’t be right. The home has gone into a mode of legal defence. I have no way of knowing if they are right in their contentions. What I do see is that in these legalistic times every party uses attack and defence for its own purposes. What about admission of guilt or culpability on the one hand and unjustified criticism on the other where these are called for.
