When I took my citizenship test in Philadelphia in 1977, which was conducted orally by one person and not far from Independence Hall, I was stumped to name Pennsylvania’s second United States Senator. Since I had proved knowledgeable on the Constitutional and history questions, the examiner was not worried. He prompted me that the second Senator was Mr. Heinz.
