Birthplace of Country Music Alliance Seeking $4.3 Million Federal Loan

I like classical music, jazz, as well as country music, which embodies the rythms, melodies, and atittudes of the people who led the westward march and their descendants. If Andrew Jackson is the first Scotch-Irish president, country music is their melodic voice. It has since broadened its reach beyond its historical antecedents, one of its latest stars being an African-American. For my money, Bristol in Virginia does have a claim on federal funds.
