It was interesting to read about the two retired teachers in Roanoke who have gone back to work. They have lots of experience from the past and their temporary retirement may well have given them new insights which could, if only indirectly, contribute to their teaching. During the early years of my own retirement from college teaching I began to see things at least a little differently.
