The “For” is Gone

on the McDonnell signs at the Marriott where the GOP will be later this evening.

I noticed this an hour ago when I at the hotel doing a television interview.

It’s no longer McDonnell for Governor.

The signs just say McDonnell at the top and Governor underneath.

I spoke to a number of Republican operatives.

It’s a pretty confident group and they’re not seeing anything in the turnout numbers that are worrisome.

They have the over/under number for the Governor’s race at 11.

With a net pickup of 5 in the House.

I am hearing rumors (from advocates in both parties) for more than a 5 seat swing in the HoD. Dems are doing some late scrambling to get people to the polls in NoVa.
