Hmmm. Wonder if you can just skip the church and go to Heaven on-line? Hmmm. BKD
Jerry Fallwell described Liberty University as the greatest Christian school in the world. Years ago the Reverend Ian Paisley, the fiery Presbyterian Northern Ireland leader, praised Bob Jones University, which he had attended, as the greatest university in the world. Liberty, which has had its influence on national and state politics, clearly aspires to be more than a purely theological institution.
I know a few graduates from a little school in South Bend, IN who would disagree with both Jerry Fallwell and Ian Paisley. Maybe the debate could be settled by a football game among the vying schools. One can only assume that God wouldn’t let the team from the greatest Christian school in the world lose.
Of course, Catholicism probably doesn’t fit either man’s definition of a type of Christianity. Nor Unitarianism, Lutheranism, the Society of Friends, etc, etc.
