The Attorney-General of Maryland has issued a ruling, controversial though it is in Annapolis, that same-sex marriages performed in other states are to be recognized in the state. The AG of Virginia is reported to have given conservative advice to William and Mary in gays and lesbian matters. Neighbors don’t always agree.
