Here’s an excellent story by Mike Sluss.

It provides an important caveat to yesterday’s story about Senate action intended to stymie House Republicans on their Second Amendment legislative agenda.

He notes that there was important gun legislation that passed in the Senate before it decided to utilize a “special” subcommittee to bury House legislation and these bills are heading to the Governor for his signature.

The bills include legislation that will allow individuals with concealed carry permits to bring guns into bars and restaurants so long as they do not consume alcohol.

The effort to repeal “0ne gun a month”, however, will be headed to a quick burial in the new subcommittee.
