The new Economic Development Commission has 60-plus members? Please. Failure is built-in. We’d have better luck farming this effort out to the nearest Third World parliament. BKD
Living as I do in the metropolitan Washington area, the variety of views on gun rights and restrictions on guns here is quite striking. The District of Columbia is largely Democratic and not happy with the recent Supreme Court decision to strike down its restrictions on guns. Maryland has a Democratic majority and tends to be more like D.C. than Virginia in this regard. The NRA is headquartered in NOVA and the state has a strong hunting culture. The views of Senators and Webb are therefore politically nuanced.
I don’t care what that Barnie Day says. I do not want responsibility for economic development in Virginia transferred to the South Carolina legislature.
